Top 5 of my favorite tropical fruits

I have tried to find some books to assist me for planting and cultivating fruits. I found that most books about gardening sold in the market focuses on cool-climate fruits such as apples, strawberries, raspberries, cherries, currants, grapes and so on. Probably it is because most books about gardening are written in English and most English speaking countries are located in cool climate area.

However, here I am living in Singapore and Indonesia. These countries are located in tropical areas unlike Western countries such as United States, Britain or Australia. There are only two seasons here and not four seasons like those countries. Additionally, most areas of Indonesia are lowlands and hence it is unlikely to plant apples or strawberries here.

The list here is top 5 of my most favorite tropical fruits:

The way to plant these fruits are virtually non-existent even in I hope I can find the information during my stay in Indonesia.

About edwinlt

I am currently Indonesian expatriate working in Singapore. I am currently working as security researcher in National University of Singapore. I write this blog to share to readers about my life principle on various aspects, like religion, politics, business, relationship, and technology. I am interested in alternative worldviews because I found that many things taught to us by establishments are not true and harmful. My dream is to become self-sufficient in food and energy. Hopefully, someday I can have my own fruit garden and my own power plant and able to sell my electricity to power company. I hope readers enjoy my blog.
